Critical Rework

Critical rework refers to the process of repairing or reworking electronic components or assembly failures or fixing manufacturing defects. Types of critical reworks are Component level rework (Repairing or replacing individual electronic components such as BGA, LGA, QFN, CSP and all other BTC packages) and Board level rework (Such as track / trace repairing & building especially for all types of BTC components).

Major challenge of critical rework is to have specialized human skills and equipment. Critical rework required Precision and Precise techniques to avoid damaging surrounding components, while ensuring the reworked component or assembly meets Quality standards.

Crosspoint Technologies has skilled and trained Engineers / Technicians to ensure critical rework techniques.

Uses specialized equipment such as BGA rework station and thermal profiling tools.

Uses customized stencil and fixtures / jigs for precise results.

Implements strict Quality control process to ensure the reworked component meets requirements and standards.

Precise rework done on the PCB on the BGA footprint and made additional electrical connection requirement.
